This year, in lieu of our annual Simchat Torah Gala Kiddush, we have decided to sponsor a celebratory Gala Kiddush in Tzochar, our sister Yishuv in Israel. While the leaders of Tzochar have determined that they will be commemorating Shmini Atzeret/Simchat Torah in a more solemn way this year, they are grateful for our offer to sponsor a celebratory kiddush in Tzochar as soon as their community is ready. We feel honored to be able to provide them with this moment of joy and light amidst the challenges that they continue to face.

We ask our members to sponsor Gala Kiddush as they would in any other year – recognize family or friends and allow our brothers and sisters in Tzochar to celebrate us as we celebrate them. All sponsorships will be listed and printed as they are each year. KMS will still serve a standard kiddush on Simchat Torah this year, and we look forward to celebrating together with our brothers and sisters in Tzochar soon.
